Chuck Schiedler
Chuck has been married to his wife, Debi, for 42 years. They’ve lived in Springfield, Oregon since 1984 and are fortunate to reside within 25 miles of their children and eight grandchildren. After owning two businesses, they retired in 2016. Prior to moving to Springfield, Chuck taught Bible and New Testament Greek at Canyonview Bible Seminary from 1978 to 1984. Since then, he has continued to minister in various churches and home Bible fellowships with an emphasis on contextual Bible teaching and applying the Word to develop Christian character.
This couple’s regular activities include spending time with family, gardening, traveling, hiking in God’s beautiful creation, camping in their 5th wheel, and writing.
Since 2012, Chuck has contributed numerous articles and audio messages to: edifiedliving.net, three of which are published in the Journal of Grace Theology. Also, he’s developed a mentorship program with Tyrannus Bible School which seeks to help believers cultivate personal initiative to learn the Word and be transformed by its teachings. This course combines in-depth Bible study with a close teacher/student relationship to provide real life and ministry experience in all aspects of Christian practice. Those desiring greater independence in the Word are encouraged to learn New Testament Greek. By progressively building a comprehension of word meanings, grammar and language structure, students are enabled to understand the text of and teach directly from the Greek New Testament.
